  • Telehealth Online Therapy Sessions

Therapy is an active process guided by your goals. We know that better outcomes are achieved when people also work on their wellbeing and goals between sessions, this is how we develop better skills and strategies to manage stress, improve mental health and manage difficulties. My aim is to tailor treatment to your needs and to resource clients so that each person no matter what their age is better able to support themselves, achieve better outcomes and improve their wellbeing.

  • Teens

With so many changes and so much to navigate, teens often benefit from having someone to talk to about the challenges they are going through. I have supported teens for over 15 years in private practice, and just like when I work with adults, my aim is to listen and resource them to cope with whatever they are struggling with - mental health issues, mood, friendships, school, confidence or any other number of issues they may be facing. This means practical ideas and strategies they can work on between sessions to improve their mental health, build resilience and develop effective life skills.

  • Young Adults

The transition into adulthood brings with it opportunity, increased independence and responsibility. Mental health support and talking through the decisions and issues young adults may be facing can help guide them on a path of increased self-awareness, improved relationships, autonomy, decision-making skills, resilience and more effective ways to deal with stressors.

  • Parents

For many years I have supported parents and carers in supporting their children and teens. There are many ways to parent and what feels right for one family may not feel right for another. Parenting is not easy and talking with someone outside of our everyday lives can help us focus on what’s important to us, appreciate what is going well and working through the things we need help with and the things we are not sure about.

In order to be able to give to others effectively, we also need to give to ourselves. Getting support is one way of gaining a better understanding of ways to manage the particular issues you are facing as a parent, increasing your confidence and moving forward to improve and build positive relationships.

  • Adults

The day-to-day responsibilities that many adults have often involves doing a myriad of things while managing challenges and stressors along the way. Taking some time to engage in support and evidence-based treatment when needed is one way to take care of yourself. Therapy sessions may help you identify your values and what’s important to you, achieve the changes and outcomes you are hoping for, improve your mental health and skills to cope with significant life changes, stress and difficult times.

  • NDIS

From a neurodiversity affirming view, I work with Plan-Managed and Self-Managed NDIS clients toward their goals. I provide progress reports for NDIS plan reviews, and as with all my clients, my aim is to resource each person so that they can work toward improving their wellbeing and develop more effective ways to managing challenges.
